LOVE Island couple Lucie Donlan and Luke Mabbott have put their dream home up for sale for £450k just 18 months after buying it
The former Islanders, who have been engaged since 2021, have been busy renovating the historic Cornish property that was built in 1879.
When the couple bought the former chapel, which has been converted into a cottage, they called it their “dream home”.
Lucie and Luke purchased the 146-year-old property in January last year.
From the outside, the home looks just like an old English chapel.
But when you step in the property, you would think you were in a cosy cottage.
The impressive building has two bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and has a cosy living room with a log burner.
The home is is also situated in the popular Cornish seaside resort of Newquay.
Shortly after buying the chapel, which the couple co-own with Luke’s brother, the hunk told MailOnline: “It’s quite surreal to say you own a chapel with your brother, but it was an amazing opportunity for us. It is a stunning building, huge and open with a lot of potential – we just can’t wait to start work on it.”
Lucie added: “We can’t wait to get stuck into this project and bring this beautiful building back to life. It holds so much history and is absolutely stunning.
“Luke and I – and of course Liam! – work so well together as a team. It’s so incredible I get to do this with Luke.”
Lucie and Luke started dating in 2020 and have been going strong ever since.
The blonde beauty appeared on the 2019 series of Love Island and had a short fling with fellow contestant Joseph Garratt.
Luke reached the final of the winter series in 2020 but split from Demi Jones shortly afterwards.
After appearing on the show, Luke returned to his day job as a plumber.
Lucie and Luke got engaged in December 2021 and are busy planning their big day.
