LOVE Island’s Jack Fincham has revealed he’s lost over £1million and 1million fans, as he gets ready to launch his new career comeback.
The reality star, 34, has had a tough year which saw him narrowly avoid prison after being arrested while serving a suspended sentence at the time.
Jack – who is in an on/off relationship with Towie star Chloe Brockett – found fame on Love Island in 2018, and was considered one of the biggest stars from that series.
However, the star has now bravely admitted that he has lost over a million pounds, and also 1M followers.
In a candid Instagram post, Jack penned: “I’ve been quiet for a long time — maybe too long. Truth is, I haven’t known what to say.
“I lost over £1 million chasing the wrong things — and in the process, I lost over a million followers too. That hurt. But I get it.

“I wasn’t myself. I was lost, struggling, and making the kind of mistakes that feel impossible to come back from.
“But I’ve learned this — you don’t need millions of followers to find your voice again. You just need to tell the truth.”
Explaining more in a video, Jack said: “I took a lot of bad advice over the years and had a lot of the wrong people around me.
“I’ve made some massive mistakes. I’ve learnt some really, really proper painful, really painful lessons over the years. Every mistake that I’ve made, I own them all.
“I own every single mistake that I’ve made. They’re all my fault. I ain’t a victim.
“Now, what this new chapter is about, it’s about showing you what it’s like to start from absolutely rock bottom.
“Which is where I’m at now. You know, it pains me to say it, but that’s where I’m at now. I’m at rock bottom. And I want to show you what it’s like, that with the right mindset, the right people around you, absolutely anything is possible.
“I know where I want to be. I know who I want to be. I mean, I’m not sitting here saying that I’ve got it all figured out and I know what I’m doing, because I don’t.”
JACK’S BIG COMEBACK PLAN
Speaking about his planned big comeback, Jack said: “But in order to do this, what I’ve done is I’ve launched a YouTube channel.
“Because I want you to come along on a journey with me and really do, really show you what it’s like to start from rock bottom and get to where you want to be.
“It’s going to be a bit messy, but it’s going to be uncut, raw, but it’s going to be in my own words. Not what you read in a paper, not what you read online.
“It’s going to be in my own words, my story and my journey. So if you’ve ever felt like you’re at rock bottom, if you ever felt like there was no way out, this YouTube channel is definitely for you.
“Or if you’re just interested in the journey itself. And the first video is going to be coming soon.
“So look out for it. And I hope to see you all on the road.”
JACK’S JOURNEY
Jack’s journey since finding fame on Love Island in 2018 has been far from smooth and has seen him face jail and end up in rehab.
Seven years ago he had the world at his feet when he won the ITV2 show with then-girlfriend Dani Dyer.
However, they split less than a year after leaving the Majorca villa, with their break-up playing out in the public eye.
Jack was then jailed after admitting being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog who attacked a runner and mauled a woman.
He was freed on bail the same day while he appealed.
Jack later had his sentence overturned and will no longer have to serve time in prison – although a further three months was added to his existing suspended sentence.
STINT IN REHAB
The star also previously told The Sun about his secret stint in rehab after a drug relapse made him hit rock bottom.
Jack said he had “fallen to pieces” after having “more money than he knew what to do with” – spending it on drink and class A drugs and taking at least 30 diazepam pills a day to cope with his crippling anxiety.
He said at the time: “I don’t want to be the one people describe as ‘he could have done so well, but he fed it up’. I want them to say ‘yeah he did f up but look what he’s done now’.
“I want to be a role model, not an embarrassment.”
He believed he deserved “better” than the path he’d gone down – but knew his addiction struggles could not only ruin his life, but end it prematurely too.
“I’ve got no choice. I either turn my life around or I’m dead,” he said.
