Love Island’s Biggs Chris admits to CHEATING on ex-girlfriend Rebecca Gormley as she is left blindsided and in tears by shock reveal on Amanda Holden’s new infidelity Netflix series

Love Island’s Biggs Chris has admitted to cheating on ex-girlfriend Rebecca Gormley during the first episode of Amanda Holden‘s new cheating Netflix series.

The series sees eight former couples reunite on screen in the hopes of putting infidelity issues behind them and reconnect at a luxury ‘retreat’ in Mallorca, where the nine-part season was filmed.

Rebecca and Biggs, who met when on Love Island in 2020, seek the help of Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda and Married At First Sight UK relationship expert Paul C. Brunson as they confront the reasons for their split head-on.

But it appears the pair have a lot to work on, with Biggs admitting just minutes into the first episode that he cheated on Rebecca, who was blindsided by the revelation.

He had previously been hit by cheating accusations but Rebecca was not aware if they were true or not, before Biggs confirmed his infidelity in a bombshell reveal.

Speaking alone to the camera, Biggs admitted: ‘I’m hoping to rekindle things with Rebecca, but she doesn’t know I cheated on her, and to move forward I have to come clean.’

He then proceeded to confess in front of the group: ‘I did mess up,’ as they all sat around a table and saw each other face-to-face for the first time.

Rebecca, who looked unimpressed, quipped: ‘Do you want to elaborate?’

He finally said: ‘I cheated towards the end of the relationship.’

Rebecca said it was ‘a major shock’, as she had heard rumours about cheating, but it was never confirmed.

Amanda said: ‘Well done Biggs for giving clarity and being honest.’

Rebecca then told the camera: ‘There was always allegations and I just brushed them under the carpet, and now he’s said it is all true. It is hurtful finding out something like that.’

In a later conversation between the pair, Biggs shared: ‘Towards the end of the relationship I slept with someone. I f***ed up. I don’t know why I did it.’

Rebecca responded: ‘It makes me feel violently sick. You are painted to be a nice boy but I think it was all an act.’

Rebecca was left devastated by the revelation and broke down in tears while speaking to camera as it remains to be seen if they can rebuild their romance.

The couple previously had a long-distance relationship with Rebecca in Newcastle and Biggs in Glasgow, after the UK went into lockdown following the end of Love Island’s first winter series.

According to Biggs, he and Rebecca separated after 18 months together because she was a ‘party girl’ whereas he wanted to settle down and have a family.

Speaking about their split, he previously said: ‘Rebecca’s more of a party girl, but I want a family and business and just to work work work. I want that ‘couple goals’ life where we both work hard together and build an amazing family.’

Their break-up turned nasty after Rebecca reportedly grew close to Love Island’s Michael Griffiths following the end of her romance with Biggs.

Now, as Rebecca and Biggs enter Cheat: Unfinished Business, they have finally admitted some truths in the hope of reconciling for the future.

In 2023, Biggs became a father for the first time with Summer Hawkins, who he split from just weeks before she gave birth to their son.

Summer spoke on why the couple ended, explaining the distance between them proved difficult for a long-lasting relationship.

Summer, 28, left her teaching job and moved to Scotland to be with Biggs, previously declaring she was now a ‘stay at home girlfriend’.

Speaking on the break-up, a source told The Sun: ‘It’s very sad but Summer and Biggs have decided it just isn’t working.

‘They want what’s best for their baby and they just don’t think it’s being together at the moment – they were arguing too much.

‘They might end up giving things another go but for now they want nothing to do with each other – and have even unfollowed on socials.’

The former couple have also wiped almost all traced of each other off their Instagram pages following the separation.

She previously explained their situation, saying: ‘Biggs and I were in a long distance relationship.

‘My rent was so high and I was struggling at work, so Biggs offered to look after me. All I had to do was move to Scotland and I’d never have to worry about money or stress again. I moved in with him in June 2022 and I don’t regret it.’

The rest of her day included cleaning the house, doing the washing and making sure dinner was on the table for his return from work.

Biggs declined to comment when contacted by The Sun. MailOnline reached out for comment from his spokesperson.
