ALIMA Gagigo has confirmed she’s single after it was revealed she and Ben Holborough had grown close following their brief romance in the Love Island villa.
The Love Island stars hit it off during their time on the show, but Ben ended up coupling up with bombshell Andrada Pop.
But things between them fizzled out when he and fellow Islander Tommy Bradley both snogged Towie star Dani Imbert on a night out after leaving the villa.
After The Sun revealed things were back on between Alima and Ben, she’s now insisted she’s back on the market.
Appearing on the Farmer Will & Jessie podcast, she confirmed she’s not dating anyone right now and said: “I’ve become extra picky.
“I’m definitely not going to settle for just any man. There’s a mix of people in my DMs but there’s not been anyone where I’ve been like, ‘oh my god’.
“I’ve not been on any dates. I’ve just been a bit busy, to be fair.”
In the villa, viewers were quick to spot Ben and Alima’s blossoming connection.
The Islanders turned up the heat in the villa by stripping off and performing provocative moves in a bid to excite the opposite sex.
During the task, one couple’s chemistry couldn’t be ignored by fans.
Ben was most stirred by international business graduate Alima.
When asked about her connection with Ben in the villa, Alima said: “It actually was [authentic]. We had other kisses but they didn’t show them.”
In August The Sun revealed Alima and Ben were growing close once again.
An insider at the time said: “Ben is single after his split from Andrada and Alima is also a single lady.
“They’re enjoying some harmless flirting and are trying to pick up where they left off.
“It’s very early stages and it doesn’t mean that anything will actually come of this, but they’re enjoying getting to know each other better.
“Either way they’re good friends and have a lovely connection.”
