A LOVE Islander who was accused of being “fame hungry” by his ex on the show is set to return for All Stars.
Trey Norman – a former boxer who went back to his insurance job after starring on series 11 – is looking for love a second time around.
A source told The Sun: “He’s been in talks with ITV bosses for weeks – this time he wouldn’t be in there to make friends.
“He’s up for finding love and doesn’t care about stepping on other lad’s toes to steal girls!”
Trey dated Ellie Jackson in the summer 2024 series, but were shockingly dumped on a dramatic Movie Night.
Their relationship didn’t last long on the outside – and soon Ellie dealt a savage dig at her ex.
“He just wants to be famous,” claimed Ellie, who accused him of wanting a spot on All Stars.
The comment left Try hurt, who said at the time: “I was really shocked and disappointed because I feel like I’ve always had Ellie’s back, especially when she came out.
“I’ve always wanted to protect her and speak about her in a positive light.
“Me and Ellie did agree that we’d give things a crack but the distance, Cardiff and Doncaster, it just didn’t end up working out and we decided just to be friends.
“We were cool with each other, I’ve got a lot of time for Ellie I think she’s a great person, and that’s why when I saw the article about, you know, ‘He’s fame hungry and he just wants to go on All Stars,’ I was gutted because I’m a genuine person.”
Trey’s season was ultimately won by Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan who made history when they became the first black couple to win the reality show.
