But tonight two islanders in particular couldn’t keep thoughts off of one another and took the opportunity to sneak off together into the hideaway when their partners weren’t around.

Shaq Muhammad and Sean Stone finally escaped the hideaway and returned back to the group, catching up on all the gossip.

But Charlie Frederick, partner of Helena Ford, and Millie Court, partner of Ciaran Davies, were quick to make the most out of the vacant space to spend some time alone.

Charlie snatched Millie away and led her to the hideaway’s secret garden.

As they were walking together Millie figured out where they were going and gushed: “Oh you’re taking me there, we’re going to be the first one’s in there.”

Charlie replied: “Only if nobody else has been in there first.”

They talked about the kisses they shared in previous challenges and lightheartedly quipped about how they were disappointed to not be sharing a bed.

Though things heated up when Charlie asked Millie if she’d be happy to recouple with her.

The pair shared a few passionate kisses and seem excited for what’s yet to come.

Millie beamed, saying: “He makes me feel giddy, I can’t help but try to keep my smile in. I haven’t felt like this in a long time.”

Fans of the show love the new pairing and rushed to X to share their thoughts.

“Millie girlie, I’m so happy for you, you deserve this,” said one user.

Another added: “Millie’s little gasp when charlie went to kiss her – she’s so cute.”

Charlie and Helena actually have a long-standing history, having attended the same school growing up.

Though it turns out they were far from the best of friends at the time, as Charlie ruined Helena’s 16th birthday.

Charlie first appeared on the show in 2018, seven years before Helena, who was a Love Island fan.

But watching the show and recognising Charlie, she tweeted at the time: “Nah that Charlie Fredrick kid got my 16th party closed down, said I looked like a dolphin”.

After the tweet resurfaced, a source told The Sun that while the pair did know each other several years ago, Helena couldn’t remember the ins and outs of their apparent feud now, so the past is in the past.

Meanwhile Millie and Ciaran didn’t previously know one another. But shortly before the duo being paired together, Millie had already declared that his age – 22 – was too young for her.
