A Love Island Legend has won the Christmas Celeb MasterChef special after taking home the golden whisk trophy in a tense final cookout.
Iain Stirling made his way to victory after beating out a Loose Women star with his festive winning meal.
Four celebrities went head-to-head in the kitchen tonight, to show off their cooking skills in hopes of becoming crowned, Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook 2025.
MasterChef judges Grace Dent and John Torode were back to critique the celebrities this year and crown their winner.
Each year the winner of the BBC One show is awarded a special prize for being crowned champion.
Stepping into the kitchen were Love Island voice over legend Iain, Loose Women star GK Barry, actor Kola Bokinni, and presenter Nikki Fox.
They were all competing for the prestigious title and the glamorous Celebrity MasterChef Golden Whisk trophy.
The celebs first challenge saw them compete to create Italian inspired dishes in homage to last year’s Celebrity Masterchef winner and Strictly star Vito Coppola, who appeared as a guest judge.
GK Barry wowed with her porchetta which is an oven-baked rolled pork dish even though she had never cooked pork before, John dubbing it “perfect”.
Iain made a tiramisu roulade which also impressed, Nikki and Kola also received praise from the judges meaning it was a close call heading into the final challenge.
For the celebs final meal they were tasked with creating their own ultimate Christmas day meals, adding their own personal twist to the dish.
Ted Lasso star Kola, opted to pay homage to his roots and made a Nigerian inspired menu complete with delicious pounded yam, beef stew and blitzed Okra, which got him a thumbs up from the judges.
However, his desert of traditional deep fried dough balls weren’t up to par after being overcooked.
Next on the chopping block was Nikki who served up a Christmas dinner encased in a massive Yorkshire pudding, with her dessert being a classic trifle.
Unfortunately, whilst everything else was tasty her cheesy pigs in blanket were not a hit and her gravy had turned green.
GK Barry chose to present her festive dish, which included sausages and mash also in a Yorkshire pudding in the shape of reindeer.
Although praised for her gravy and Yorkshire pudding her presentation didn’t hold up and she missed the mark by not adding more to her caramel muffins.
Last up to the chopping board was Iain, who chose a Chinese takeaway inspired twist for his Christmas meal.
His dish, which included a whole cauliflower, Chinese style spicy chicken wings with a dessert of boozy ice cream which went down a treat with the judges.
After tense deliberations it was revealed that Iain would be taking home the Christmas cook-off crown.
After his fellow celebs congratulated him, fake snow began to fall as he was handed a glass of champagne by John and Grace.
Speaking about his win, he joked: “I think I’m a chef now. I think I’m quitting comedy and I am going to be a full-time Michelin star chef.”
