Sharing the news on Instagram, she said: “My dream came true today.

“My Cyprus I will do you proud.

“I am so humbled, honoured & grateful. Thank you God.”

Antigoni, who was chosen by the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, then shared a screengrab of her breaking the new to her grandparents and wrote: “The fact they are here to see me represent the country that taught me to love and be proud means more than anything.”

Her music has been described as “a vibrant fusion of pop, hip hop production and traditional Greek Bouzouki – a genre-bending mix that feels both contemporary and timeless.”

Forever proud of her Cypriot roots, the former villa girl even learned to sword dance for her recent Habibi video.

The blonde beauty is having the time of her life at the moment.

Just days ago she performed alongside Hollywood A-lister Jason Momoa at his London bar Rex Rooms.

Hunky Jason was on the bass and Antigoni on vocals as they rocked the intimate venue’s wild afterparty with his band Oof Tatata.

Prior to that, she concluded an eight date tour at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, writing: “Thank you to every person at every show for being so welcoming and showing so much love. Feel so blessed to have connected with so much beautiful energy all over.”
