A LOVE Island star has revealed how he was MUGGED in LA, and even chased the thieves down the street.
Joe Garratt, 29, shot to fame in the villa six years ago, and has now sent a warning to fans after being robbed.
Joe first took part in Love Island in 2019 for series five when he met his now-ex Lucie Donlan.
He then re-entered the villa for the All Stars series in 2024.
But the popular Islander has revealed his ordeal after being mugged whilst in LA.
Posting on his Instagram Stories, he let fans know what had happened to him.
“ot robbed in LA In and then proceeded to chase them for 3 blocks in cowboy boots,” Joe told fans.
Sending a warning he added: “Stay safe out there pls!”
NEW PATH
Meanwhile, earlier this month the Love Island hunk revealed that he has found GOD after choosing a new path in life.
He also said that his wild partying days are over after reconnecting with his faith.
Speaking on a recent podcast, Joe said: “You don’t need perfection to come to God.”
“You need to come to God in search of his perfection. And that’s what it is,” he added.
Then, when Joe was asked about what led him to God, he said: “I felt as if when I used to drink… I wasn’t a bad drinker… I just felt like it would lead me to doing things that didn’t align with the man I said I was.
“And it definitely didn’t align with the christian values I’m trying to go forward with.”
Joe added: “Sin seems more digestible when drunk or, and again, this is if you can handle your alcohol, and it’s fine, so be it.
“But I just personally, it wasn’t.
“It wasn’t serving me anymore. And again, it didn’t align with the… I like to be a man of my word, and it wasn’t aligned with the man I was telling people I was.”
He then said: “It’s been amazing, and if anything, it’s definitely brought me closer to God for sure.”
SEX ACT REVEALTION
Back when Joe was in the Love Island villa the first time around, he and the boys would discuss with one another when they’d pleasure themselves.
Speaking to the Daily Star in 2020, Joe opened up about the sex act he did in the villa.
“I will neither confirm or deny it myself but if you need to, you need to,” he said.
He then quipped: “At the end of the day it’s a very stressful environment and you have to somehow relieve yourself of some stress.
“I think everyone does it sneakily, they just don’t tell anyone.”
Each time the solo act had happened the guys in the villa would instantly be able to detect what had secretly gone down.
