LOVE Island winner Gabby Allen is set to swap the fire pit for the playing field after signing up for the Games spin-off.
The reality TV star has agreed to take part in the upcoming series filmed in the US after her split from Casey O’Gorman.
The pair’s whirlwind romance on Love Island: All Stars kept fans hooked earlier this year and they romped to victory in February.
But just three months after their TV success they announced they had split.
A TV source said: “Gabby has been in the mix for Love Island Games for some time, but she wasn’t sure at first if she wanted to do it as her split from Casey was still quite fresh.
“Now, a few months have passed and she feels ready to head back to the villa and give it another whirl.
“Love Island Games is less about finding love and more about having fun, and Gabby feels like she deserves a good time in the sun.
“If she meets the man of her dreams, great, that’s a bonus but it’s not what she is focussing on.
Bosses are hoping the former Islander will bring both drama and determination to the series, with filming due to kick off in the coming weeks.
The source continued: “She is heading out to Fiji any day now as filming starts in a couple of weeks.
“The show starts airing in the US on streaming service Peacock on September 15 and will air on ITV later in the year.”
The Sun has contacted a rep for Gabby for comment.
Bosses in the US have also approached Casey’s team for The Games – which could mean an epic reunion for fans.
The spin-off will follow the format of the original Games, which pitted celebrities against each other in Olympic-style events.
Viewers can expect gruelling training, intense rivalries and, of course, plenty of flirting and coupling up.
Back in May The Sun revealed the couple had called time on their romance three months after winning Love Island‘s spin-off show All Stars.
They said in a joint statement: “After much thoughtful consideration, Gabby and Casey have decided to go their separate ways romantically.
“This decision was mutual, and they both remain on good terms as friends with a shared respect for each other.
Gabby added in a separate statement: “Gabby is grateful for the memories they’ve created together and wishes Casey nothing but the best as they both move forward on their individual journeys. She’s excited for what the future holds.”
A source told The Sun they ended on good terms were focusing on different things.
They said: “Neither of them have parted ways badly but they just knew it wasn’t going to work anymore.”
The Sun also revealed Love Island host Maya Jama has QUIT Love Island Games and has been replaced by Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix.
