FOOTBALLER Scott van‑der‑Sluis is set to return to Love Island for its All Stars series at the start of next year, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
The 24-year-old reality star is a villa veteran having already appeared in three versions of the show: Love Island UK, Love Island USA and Love Island Games.
Now ITV has confirmed he’s in the mix to jet to South Africa in January for another shot at finding a partner.
And his older brother Jamie Reed, 38, even allegedly confessed to strangers at a Leeds bar that Scott’s TV return is imminent.
A source told us: “He was a bit tipsy and, to make small talk with younger people, he started telling them about his younger brother, Scott.
“He said, ‘You must know Scott, he was on Love Island’, and they did.
“But I think Scott coming back will make brilliant telly because he’s controversial and conventionally attractive.”
Jamie is player-coach for Welsh side Bangor City 1876 and has had two decades in the game as a semi-pro.
Welsh footballer Scott made his way in the game as a goalkeeper in youth systems for Manchester United, Liverpool and Swansea before switching to reality TV.
He was capped at junior level for Wales but found first team appearances hard to come by at senior level.
He last played for Cheshire side Runcorn Linnets in 2022, before moving to Ireland to join Shelbourne. However, he never played for the side and soon swapped the pitch for the villa and hasn’t looked back since.
Scott recently found himself siding with co-star and friend Whitney Adebayo after her bitter split from her ex Lochan Nowacki.
The trio used to be close, appearing in social media videos together, but after Whitney and Lochan’s bitter fallout, Scott chose to stick by Whitney.
They posed together for an Instagram picture yesterday and a fan commented: “I LOVE that Scott picked you over that man….”
Whitney replied, “he know ball”, confirming the falling out.
Other names set for the All Stars villa include Belle Hassan, and Lauren Wood, while rumours are swirling that Love Island USA star Justine Ndiba could play a part.
