LOVE Island fans are convinced that this year’s islanders have been supplied with more alcohol than usual, as they appeared extra-heated during tonight’s episode.
Following a drama-filled game of Never Have I Ever, multiple islanders locked horns in a string of heated conversations.
Whitney clashed with Shaq Muhammed after learning he had gotten the “ick” from dumped islander AJ Bunker – with the pair ending up in a war of words.
At the same time, Whitney was also arguing with Jess Harding, who ended up in tears over the situation after Whitney accused her of constant “slander”.
Elsewhere, Scott Van Der Sluis attempted to diffuse the situation for his pal Whitney, but ended up in a high-tempo discussion with Shaq and Ciaran Davies.
With the whole villa getting involved in the drama, the islanders appeared to be having an ultra-emotional evening.

And taking to X, fans were convinced they appeared more tipsy than usual.
One wrote: “Are they all drunk or something? Wtf is even happening rn?!?!?”
“Is everyone drunk?,” asked another, who continued: “What is going on, i think they’ve had one too many prosecco’s #LoveIslandAllStars #loveisland#loveisland”.
A third person said: “They gave the more alcohol tonight, I jus know it”.
Noticing the same thing, another explained: “Have they upped the alcohol up tonight?”
The show famously has strict rules surrounding alcohol, something bosses introduced around 2017 as the show’s third season hit screens.
Since then, islanders are allowed to have one to two drinks per evening in a bid to keep drunkenness under control.
In 2024, fans wondered whether the alcohol policy was any different for the All Stars series – as they were convinced Georgia Harrison was tipsy one evening.
However, her co-star Mitch Taylor assured that wasn’t the case, telling The Sun: We’re not getting more alcohol, no chance.”
He continued: “We’re still stuck to our one to two drinks a night.”
Love Island continues on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
