LOVE ISLAND All Star bombshell Scott Van Der Sluis has broken his silence after the savage show twist and promises to “stamp his authority” on the villa.
The series 10 star burst into the villa at the end of last night’s first episode and immediately caused a ruckus by sharing his honest thoughts about Sean Stone.
The footballer did not mince his words and it looks like that’s the energy he’ll continue to bring in the villa during his time on the show.
Prior to his shock arrival, the 25-year-old was asked what he was going to be like on the ITV2 programme this time around and if he’ll change his behaviour.
He revealed: “I think I will just be myself, there’s shows that I’ve done since my first series on Love Island where I don’t feel like I’ve been myself, especially in America but I want to bring an updated version of myself now I’m a bit older.
“I got involved in quite a few situations last time where I look back and wonder if I should have said something, but I don’t think I’ll hold back this time, I want to stamp my authority.”
He also teased that despite wanting to share his honest opinions, he also wants to have fun this time around.
Speaking about what kind of energy he wants to bring, Scott expressed: “Fun, a lot of people thought I was quite boring at times before, they did like me for that because I only got involved in situations I had to get involved in, but there’s definitely a personality that my friends and family see.”
Host Maya Jama returned to the villa in the evening of last night’s instalment and revealed which couples had been paired together by the public.
The six couples ended up being Sean and Belle Hassan, Shaq Muhammad and Leanne Amaning, Jack Keating and Whitney Adebayo, Ciaran Davies and Millie Court and finally Charlie Frederick and Helena Ford.
However, before they were able to get acquainted, Scott walked in through the doors and threw the cat among the pigeons.
When asked by Maya which boys were “no good” for their girls, Scott said: “It is an All Star girl line up but in the end couple I can only see one All Star there.”
Scott was referring to Belle and Sean and insisted that Sean was one of the “worst Islanders” he had ever seen.
Sean was left taken aback as he hit back and said: “How many finals did you make?”
To which Scott said: “How many shows have I been on?”
Sean quipped back: “That is irrelevant.”
He then added: “I have never even spoken to you before.”
Scott insisted he was just being honest before saying: “You were that far up Joey [Essex} a***, you were naming his organs after candies!”
Sean went on to brand him “crazy” amid the war of words.
Scott first appeared on Love Island back in 2023 when he arrived as a bombshell on day 11.
Despite having a connection with Catherine Agbaje, things didn’t end up materialising with them and he was dumped from the villa just six days before the final.
He went on to star on the fifth series of Love Island USA and Love Island Games, making appearances on three different versions of the franchise in under three months.
Love Island: All Stars continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
