LORRAINE Kelly has shared a health update after going missing from her hit show.
The Scottish star also admitted “I won’t see you for a while” as she went into detail about the illness she is currently battling, and how long her viewers will go without seeing her on their screens.
In the video she shared on her Instagram page on Monday, Lorraine said she just wanted to say thanks for the get well wishes before giving her fans an update on how she is feeling.
“I’m feeling a whole lot better,” Lorraine said in the video while looking cosy in a knitted jumper.
She went on to say that it has been “a bad lurgy”, after complaining about a bad throat last week.
“If you’re going through it yourself, you have my sympathies. It’s a tough one,” she said.
“But I’m getting there. I will though be off for a good few weeks.
“Not because I’m not well, but because of course there’s been changes to the show, and we now do 30 weeks a year.
“So, I won’t see you for a wee while, but I want to thank you for sticking with me through all the changes, and I hope to see you when I’m back on air.
“And I never take it for granted. And I really really appreciate you tuning in,” she concluded.
Meanwhile, in the caption of the video, Lorraine penned: “THANK YOU for sticking with me through all of the changes to the show and for your kind messages.
“I will be back soon and really looking forward to your company.
“Thanks to my top team and crew and all of the lovely guests who come on @lorraine to share their stories.
“I will miss you but see you real soon.“
Lorraine’s friends and colleagues rushed to the comments section to support the star.
