Lorna Luxe reveals sweet nod to late husband John as she shares glimpse inside her lavish new ‘temporary’ home which she says he ‘would love’

Lorna Luxe has revealed a sweet nod to late husband John Andrews while sharing a glimpse of her lavish new ‘temporary’ home on Saturday.

The influencer, 43, who lost her husband to stage four adrenal cancer aged 64 in February, moved into the swanky abode as renovations continue on the couple’s £2.5M home, famously referred to as Ghost House.

Lorna said John ‘would love’ the minimalist property which she revealed was also designed by BPN Architects, the team behind the couple’s Warwickshire mansion.

The influencer showed off the modern home with glass walls and chic furnishings as she settled in with beloved dog Kev-Bear.

Taking to her Instagram Stories she admitted the move had been ‘stressful’ but was now ‘really glad’ to be there.

‘John would love it, because he loved this house. It was designed by the same guy who designed our Ghost House so its got that nice feel about it’.

The couple previously moved out of their £2.5million home in 2025 while extensive renovations took place with Lorna now forced to do it once again.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Wednesday night, she said her late husband would be proud of her as she explained: ‘I’ve whacked all my stuff in storage so it’s a bit disorientating for Kev-bear.

‘We moved in with a suitcase of clothes, a corkscrew and a kettle… I hadn’t anticipated having to move out of our last place so this has all been a bit stressful but you know what, John would be so proud that I pulled it off and found me and Bear an even better gaff to ‘temporarily’ call home’.

It comes after Lorna revealed she was considering having children after John’s tragic death.

And in her first interview since his passing, she reflected on her wonderful lavish life with the former banker as she addressed their choice to not have children.

Explaining that they had tried for children when they had first got married when she was 26, she said that when she didn’t get pregnant she decided to focus on her career.

Reflecting on the decision she said: ‘Over the past couple of years I’d say, “Do you think we should have done something about that? Shall we go and get me checked out?”

‘But then John got ill… I don’t dwell on what might have been, but just recently I was asking the guy who does my Botox if I should freeze my eggs.’

She told The Times: ‘I’ve always been part of a partnership; now I’ve got these big decisions to make alone.’

John was originally diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2023, but after a period of remission his cancer returned the following year, spreading to his brain.

The millionaire banker was rushed back to hospital with organ failure following a complication with his chemotherapy and fell ill with sepsis shortly before Christmas. Lorna was told to ‘prepare for the worst’, but he was home in time to spend Christmas Day with Luxe, before passing away on February 11.

Last month Lorna struggled to hold back tears while preparing to revisit the sprawling Warwickshire home she shared with her late husband weeks after his death to cancer.

Lorna was forced to go back for a progress report without John, telling followers that the prospect of returning to the three-bedroom Warwickshire home without her husband was ‘bittersweet.’

She wrote: ‘I’m having to be John today and head to Ghost House in a bit for the quarterly site progress meeting.

‘All the contractors working the site are going to walk me through their plans, and then I get to share anything I want changing.

‘We were both so excited to get back to there. Very bittersweet this.’

In a second post, she appeared to fight back tears while outlining her plans to return home for a site visit, with work on the home currently months over a planned six month time frame.

She said: ‘I’ve got a busy day today. I’m going to Ghost House shortly, and there’s a big meeting happening today where all the people that have been working together on the rebuild are coming together to just explain what they’ve been doing, what we’ve got to do next, and how on track are we?’

‘I’ve been told it’s going to be August that I get the house back, so it’ll have been a year since John and I moved out. It’s meant to be six months, so massively over the time frame, but I think I’m going to get a house back that I’m really happy with.

‘And yeah, be really nice to be home. I’m really missing it now – I don’t know what the next few months are going to look like for me, so I’m not going to think about it, but the game plan is moving back in August.’
