LOOSE Women star Denise Welch took a swipe at her co-star Kaye Adams during today’s show as they got embroiled in a fiery debate about fat jabs.
The panel were discussing a new study which claims that those who use jabs such as Mounjaro and Wegovy pile on weight four times faster after stopping them.
During the discussion, Denise and Kaye had a clear difference of opinion and began to talk over one another while getting their points across.
Claiming there are side effects to every drug, and this is no different, Denise said: “If you read the side effects of paracetamol, you would be surprised at how many people die a week of paracetamol, and-“.
Kaye interjected: “Yeah, but paracetamol have long term studies attached”.
The pair went back and forth on the matter, with Sunetra Sarker getting involved to agree with Denise.
Sunetra and Denise argued that they have done plenty of diets where you regain weight faster once stopping, claiming the jabs are no different.
As Kaye began to make her point and say, “‘No,” Denise quickly spoke over to dismiss her point as she said: “You’re just thin!
“We haven’t been thin.”
Kaye simply looked to the camera as she clearly gave up on the debate.
Fans in the comment were also torn, as one backed Denise by saying: “Denise isn’t rude she just passionate and informed”.
Another slammed: “Denise is so rude. She shouts over everybody.”
A long-standing fixture on the show, Denise has been a regular Loose Women panelist since 2005 and doesn’t shy away from on-screen debates.
Last year, Denise hit back at ‘Ageist’ trolls and vowed to flaunt swimwear forever saying.
Denise took to the Loose Women panel where she responded to critics who labelled her yacht snapshot she’d taken as inappropriate.
Despite the backlash, she defiantly declared her intent to continue sharing such photos, emphasising her refusal to conform to age-based stereotypes.
