Loose Women star drops huge hint she’s returning to daytime show five years after quitting

A FORMER Loose Women favourite has suggested she could be making her TV return to the ITV chat show.

The presenter – who left the panel show in 2020 after 13 years – has spoken out about ‘going back’ in life.

Host-turned-life-coach Andrea McLean shared an open letter with followers and hinted that a return could be in the pipeline.

She penned: “They say: ‘never go back’. And I get it, especially when it comes to nasty exes who promise they’ll change despite evidence to the contrary.

“But what about the other parts that make up our complicated lives?

“What about jobs, or friendship groups or dreams we chased that didn’t work out? Maybe it’ll be different this time?”

Janet Street Porter, 79, reveals she’s got married for a FIFTH time

A fan asked: “Would you go back to Loose Women, Andrea? Some of the others returned e.g Denise and it’s been great.”

Although she replied: “Hmm, I live in Spain now, so it would be quite the commute!” she spoke about

The 56-year-old addressed why ‘going back’ doesn’t have to be a bad thing, although ‘nasty exes’ are not included.

“I don’t think ‘going back’ is a bad idea at all – certain caveats regarding behaviour obviously inserted.

“If there has been change, and growth, and fresh outlooks on what was and what wasn’t, it can be healthy, and an opportunity to see what a certain future could have looked like.”

The successful author quit the ITV daytime show in 2020 to run her now-dissolved female empowerment brand, This Girl Is On Fire.

Her decision to leave Loose Women behind came after she suffered a nervous breakdown.

Announcing her exit live on air, she said in 2020: “Last year, I had a nervous breakdown and what I felt was this year, collectively, the world had a breakdown.

“The experience I had means that this year I was mentally really strong to deal with everything that the pandemic threw at us.

“But it made me stop and think: ‘What do I actually want?’ If there is anything that can show us you only get one life…

“Are you living it the way you want? Doing everything you want to do? Being brave and taking chances? And I realised no.”

The TV star swapped the UK for Spain after selling her £1m home and nearly dying.

She came terrifyingly close to dying after being struck down with pneumonia and sepsis.

Andrea previously told how her endorsement deals dried up overnight when she announced she was quitting Loose Women to focus on her business.

Her upcoming book, Shameless: Finding Freedom and Resilience Through Failure is expected to ‘lay everything bare from financial ruin and broken marriages to cancel culture and toxic TV’.
