‘Lonely and bitter’ Paloma Faith takes ANOTHER swipe at Celebrity Traitors as she teams up with banished Niko for ‘hater’ video in fallout from triple elimination

Paloma Faith has taken another swipe at Celebrity Traitors as she teamed up with banished Niko Omilana in a new social media video.

The Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer took to Instagram with a clip of her joking she was in the ‘after life’, following her brutal ‘murder’ at the hands of pal and Traitor Alan Carr

Paloma, 44, was the first to leave the castle earlier this month when Alan, 49, struck her down with a poisoned lily in the first killing of the BBC One series.

Since then, the singer has been vocal about her disappointment at being first out, even hitting out at comedian Alan saying ‘if the shoe was on the other foot, she wouldn’t have done’ what he’d done to her.

She hit out on the Uncloaked podcast: ‘Categorically, he had a choice – maybe it was the easiest option, but it was the choice he made and I don’t think it was very nice.’

Niko, 27, was voted out following Paloma’s killing as the Traitors pinned it on the YouTube star who had been seen ‘hugging’ her in the final scenes before her death.

Now, Paloma has taken yet another swipe at the series, admitting that she’s been feeling ‘bitter’ about her death in a video shared on Thursday.

‘It’s so lonely here in the afterlife,’ she cries in the clip, which saw her sat alone in a room with a filter placed around her to make her appear she was up in the clouds and surrounded by angels.

Dragging over a chair and sitting next to her, Niko appears saying: ‘Don’t cry, Paloma. I’m dead as well, it’s good to see you. It’s awful in there.’

‘You are my favourite, tell me everything that happened,’ Paloma continues, as Niko replies: ‘Well, they just all stabbed me in the back.’

Paloma adds: ‘Can I just also say that I’m so sorry about that hug thing, I’m like verbal diarrhoea but you know that I love you.’

‘I know, I know – and I didn’t take it personally at all, I’m happy to be here, it stunk in there,’ Niko reassures her, before the duo rename themselves the ‘Traitors Haters’.

Paloma penned alongside the video: ‘Traitors Haters! Welcome to the afterlife Niko, they have bitterness here and it’s on tap and tastes so good.’

Earlier this week, Celebrity Traitors fans criticised the stars for voting out Niko Omilana, claiming it was only because he was a ‘lesser known’ celebrity on the show.

During Wednesday night’s episode of the BBC competition, the YouTuber was sent home after receiving the most votes from his co-stars, who believed he was a Traitor.

Standing before his fellow contestants, he said: ‘First thing first, I can’t believe I’m out so quickly, but it’s been an honour getting to know every single one of you. You’re all great people.

‘I can now reveal that this whole time I’ve been honest… and I’m a Faithful.’

The remaining contestants were left disappointed at not uncovering a Traitor.

Fans accused the stars of targeting Niko as an ‘easy target,’ taking to X, formerly Twitter, to voice their frustrations at the scenes.

Elsewhere in the episode, Tom Daley was the next victim for the Traitors.

Sadly for the former Olympian, Traitors Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, and Cat Burns thought him too wily after he asked many questions at the show’s roundtable and he was later bumped him off.

Upon learning that he had been murdered, Tom said: ‘Well, that didn’t take long, did it? I am gutted to be leaving the game. I think I was murdered because I think people see me as a threat and thought I might weasel them out eventually.’

After Niko’s exit and Tom’s murder, the cast took part in a scary task to add money to the prize pot.

But the frightening challenge proved too much for actress Celia Imrie, 73, who audibly broke wind in front of the cameras. She told presenter Claudia Winkleman: ‘I just farted. It’s just nerves. But I always own up.’

At the second banishment ceremony, the remaining 16 celebrities debated who they thought were the Traitors in their midst before expelling Faithful, Eastenders actress Tameka Empson.

After her banishment, she said: ‘It has been lovely meeting all of you. I’m just a bit stunned if I’m honest. I am a faithful.’

She confessed that she had over indulged at the lavish breakfasts put on by the Celebrity Traitors production crew: ‘The breakfast table is everything.

‘That’s a highlight. The food was very lovely, and I think I might have put on a few little…let’s say one pound.’

There could be trouble on the horizon for Jonathan as, after Tameka’s banishment, Ruth Codd told Celia and Alan she is ‘convinced’ he is a Traitor.

Celebrity Traitors airs Wednesdays and Thursdays on BBC One at 9pm and is available to stream on iPlayer.
