London Marathon 2025 prize money: How much can be won at historic annual race plus previous winners

THOUSANDS of athletes are gearing up for the London Marathon 2025 – and this year’s prize money has been revealed!

Chelsea legend John Terry, Arsenal fan favourite Jack Wilshere and Britain’s most successful Olympian Sir Jason Kenny will all be taking part.

British icon Alex Yee is also set to make his debut on the big stage streets after winning Olympic and world gold last year.

But only a select few can run away with the prize money like

What is the London Marathon 2025 prize money?

Winners of the 2025 London Marathon are set to take home £41,800 ($55,000). Second place will earn racers £22,800 ($30,000) and third place recieve £16,700 ($22,000).

However, there are also £114,400 ($150,000) bonuses on offer. $125,000 for setting a new world record and £19,000 ($25,000) up for grabs in the elite men’s and women’s races for a new course record.

Wheelchair races get the same prize pot as the elite men’s and women’s races.
