FOR years she’s been cruelly mocked over her singing capabilities.
But fearless Katie Price has now teamed-up with one of Ed Sheeran’s hit-makers – and is heading for an unlikely number one in the Official Big Top 40 Charts.
Here, in an exclusive first listen for Sun readers, is a clip from her forthcoming single, Best Of Me.
A source said: “Kate is absolutely buzzing – she really feels like this is her time.
“Her 2017 single, I Got U, has inexplicably shot to number three in the unofficial charts, and has an outside shot at clambering up another two places by Sunday.
“Now she’s teamed-up with Ne-Yo, Wiz Khalifa and Chris Brown’s talented producer, Shaye, and has had a ball recording her new track.
“It’s a catchy dance number that is sure to do well in European clubs especially.
“These are her raw vocals, and she is hoping to prove a few people wrong about her singing abilities.”
In the clip, Shaye is pictured dancing alongside the headphone-wearing former glamour model.
Mum of five Katie, 47, has long held aspirations to be a pop star.
She famously competed in Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up, sporting a pink catsuit whilst heavily pregnant, eventually finishing as runner-up to Javine Hylton.
She later described the move as one of the biggest regrets in her career.
Last Sunday, however, the star uploaded a video of herself celebrating her chart comeback, and confirmed plans to make more music.
