The match sees rising stars Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz face off in their third consecutive Grand Slam final.

The clash is highly anticipated by tennis fans worldwide with both players having won one Grand Slam final each against each other previously.

However, the atmosphere outside Arthur Ashe Stadium was disrupted by significant security delays.

Thousands of fans were stuck in long queues due to enhanced security checks following the presence of former US President Donald Trump at the event.

Trump’s attendance led to extra screening measures, including increased use of metal detectors and security personnel, causing delays for ticket holders entering the stadium.

Despite the security measures, there were still noticeable empty seats inside the stadium when the final began.

Lohan, now based in Dubai, was spotted arriving in stylish fashion, while actor Ben Stiller was seen enjoying the match from the stands.

Guardiola also attended, taking advantage of the international break to watch the tennis showdown .

Fans outside expressed frustration on social media over the delays, with many missing the start of the match due to the wait.
