TYSON FURY has called out an ex-Anthony Joshua opponent ahead of his latest boxing comeback.
The Gypsy King is out in Thailand preparing to once again return to the ring – having unsurprisingly called off his retirement.
Fury is eyeing up to THREE fights in 2026 in a bid to catch up on lost time – with his comeback bout set for April.
A world title shot against WBO champion Fabio Wardley, 31, has also been touted later in the year.
But now Andy Ruiz Jr – who famously stunned AJ in 2019 – is the latest big name to put himself in the Fury sweepstake.
The Gypsy King himself posted a mocked up fight poster of the pair which was accepted by Ruiz who wrote “let’s go”.
Ruiz, 36, beat Joshua, 35, in New York in shock upset before losing the Riyadh rematch six months later in Saudi Arabia.
The Mexican-American last fought in August 2024, drawing against serial drugs cheat Jarrell Miller, 37.
Fury, 37, retired after consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk, 38, but has confirmed he will return this year.
And 6ft 6in Russian Arslanbek Makhmudov, 36, is a frontrunner opponent.

Fury’s manager Spencer Brown told Sky Sports: “We’re looking at five or six different opponents. [Makhmudov] is in the top three or four, most definitely.
“That’s not for me to announce. The promoters will announce that; everybody is working very hard to get this fight under way.
“We’re really down the road with the contract and an announcement is imminent.
“You will see Tyson back in the ring; we’re looking to get out there in April.”
