AS freezing temperatures continue across the UK, many are looking for ways to stay warm on a budget.
Aldi is launching a budget buy that will keep you cosy all winter long, and it’s £39 cheaper than a version from The White Company.
The supermarket chain is set to release a new range of homeware items on Sunday, 11 January.
This latest Specialbuy drop includes a £5.99 Long Hot Water Bottle, which has a two litre capacity and comes with a plush cover.
The budget winter buy closely resembles The White Company’s Super Soft Faux Fur Long Hot Water Bottle which normally retails for £45 but is currently reduced to just £36.
However, there are some minor differences between the hot water bottles.
The White Company buy is available in different colours and features a slightly smaller capacity of 1.3 litres.
Meanwhile, the Aldi hot water bottles can be seen online in a chocolate brown or cream colour.
In a press release, the supermarket explained the Specialbuy “allows shoppers to stay cosy from top to toe thanks to the extra long design and 2L capacity”.
The White Company describes its item as “silky-soft” and a “must-have for when the temperature dips”.
“Designed to lie across the length of the body, or on the bed, it distributes heat evenly,” the product description reads.
“Finished with our much-loved faux-fur cover to offer ultimate luxurious comfort, it makes a wonderfully cosy accessory for colder evenings.”
