Lauren Sanchez has broken her silence over Georgina Rodriguez‘s ‘copycat’ engagement ring.

Earlier today, Georgina and footballer Cristiano Ronaldo announced their engagement on Instagram.

The brunette beauty shared a picture of a jaw-dropping diamond ring alongside a caption that read: ‘Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.’

And Lauren, 55, who only recently tied the knot with Amazon beau Jeff Bezos, was very quick to leave a comment.

‘So happy for you,’ she wrote, alongside a red heart emoji.

Georgina’s new bling is enough to rival Lauren’s own.

The 55-year-old former journalist showed off her first envy-inducing diamond ring back in 2023, after her now-husband Jeff Bezos proposed aboard his $500 million superyacht, Koru. 

While it’s quite sizable, the Amazon founder, 61, hid the ring underneath her pillow after they had a romantic dinner outside to pop the question.

The original bling is estimated to be about 30 carats and has been valued between $3 and $5 million. Sánchez revealed in an interview with Vogue that the center stone is a rare pink diamond with a rose tone. 

However, Sánchez was quick to upgrade her multimillion dollar engagement ring for her actual wedding. 

During her over-the-top wedding week in Venice, Italy, Sánchez showed off a new dazzler that jewelers previously told the Daily Mail they believe is worth between a mindboggling $1.5 million and $5 million, which is just a drop in the bucket for the billionaire.

And the ring that Ronaldo proposed with is quite similar, it seems.

Ronaldo has been dating Rodriguez since 2017, after they met at the Gucci store where she was working as a sales assistant.

That same year, they also announced that Rodriguez was pregnant with the soccer player’s fourth child – a daughter named Alana Martina.

In 2021, they announced that they were expecting twins – but tragically, their baby boy passed away during birth.

However, their daughter, Bella Esmeralda, survived.

Now, after tackling parenthood together, it looks like a wedding is next up on the list for the couple.

It’s unclear exactly which A-listers will make their wedding guest list, including Sanchez and new hubby Jeff Bezos.

Curiously enough, Ronaldo and Rodriguez were not present at the power couple’s June 2025 Venetian bash.

When she tied the knot, Sanchez graced the cover of Vogue in her Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress, which took over 900 hours to make.

The cover showed the former journalist with a huge grin on her face as she posed in her white gown, which featured a high neck, lace sleeves and long, trailing veil. 

The couple hosted an extravagant, multi-day event in Venice, Italy, just a few weeks ago, which featured events like a foam party on Bezos’ $500 million yacht, and a pajama-themed get-together. 

Guests included a slew of A-listers like Kris Jenner, Ivanka Trump, Orlando Bloom and Kim Kardashian.
