Lauren Goodger revealed that she had to cut a recent holiday short because of her anxiety.
The TOWIE star, 38, took to Instagram today to share a candid statement with her almost 1 million followers explaining how she has been feeling emotionally.

“Hey guys, sorry I’ve been MIA,” Lauren began in a simple text post to her Instagram story.
“My holiday was cut short due to severe anxiety – it was overwhelming.
“But I’m proud I pushed through, even when it got tough.”
It’s uncertain where the exact location of Lauren’s holiday was but she recently shared some snaps from the mystery trip in a plunging black bikini top, black flared trousers, and large sunglasses.
Lauren is home now, but feels she has a lot of work to do to take control of her emotions and feel in a better headspace.
“Now that I’m home, I’ve got a lot of work to do on myself.
“Those 2 days of anxiety attacks were terrifying.”
While Lauren was doing her best on the holiday, she was also trying to take care of her four year old daughter, Lacrose.
“Hiding it all from my daughter was draining,” Lauren said near the end of the statement.
“Time for self-care and healing.”
Lauren is best known for featuring in The Only Way Is Essex from 2010 to 2012.
She made a brief return to the series in 2015 and 2016, before making a permanent return to the programme in 2024.
Lauren has been open in the past about her struggles with anxiety, stating in an interview last year that she has “suffered tremendous anxiety due to the things [she has] been through”.
Her second daughter, Lorena, passing away only two minutes after being born is one of the major contributors to Lauren’s hardship.
