A FLOOD watch is in place ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix this weekend.
Nevada is expected to be hit by heavy rainfall in the days leading up to the star-studded event.

The flood alert was first issued on Monday and is expected to be in place until Wednesday at the earliest.
However, conditions are likely to improve as the week goes on, allowing the race weekend to go ahead safely.
Practice on Friday could be impacted by rain with a 31 per cent chance of showers in the city.
Showers are expected to clear on Saturday in plenty of time for the evening action, which includes qualifying.
And on race day, there is virtually no chance of rainfall.
The main event is scheduled to begin at 4am for UK-based viewers on Sunday.
That is 8pm Las Vegas local time on Saturday evening.
It is the only race on the F1 calendar to take place on a Saturday.
