Kylie Jenner‘s fans are flipping out over a short video posted by French designer Haider Ackermann.
In the clip, Kylie was using a lint roller to help Timothee Chalamet, 29, get ready before the 70th David Di Donatello film festival in Rome on Wednesday, May 7, in Rome, Italy.
The Complete Unknown star wore a double-breasted, black Tom Ford suit with a white flower on his lapel.
Before they hit the red carpet – for the first time together – Chalamet FaceTimed with Tom Ford creative director Ackermann.
He later shared a screen grab from the conversation on Instagram.

Kylie chose a fitted black Schiaparelli gown for the night and arrived in Rome without her glam team so she did her own hair and makeup.
‘Rome in @schiaparelli @danielroseberry,’ she wrote via Instagram. ‘Makeup by meee.’
Fans loved Timothee’s look and one person commented, ‘When Kylie is part of the glam squad, you know it’s serious business.’
Another fan seemed to have a bone to pick with Kylie and Timothee and their relationship.
‘Looks like his mommy. Acts like his mommy. You are making Timmy a dependent child, like an appendage to Kylie Jenner. He is losing fans because of this Jenner circus,’ they wrote.
‘We (HIS real fans, not her) are just waiting for this sh*t to end. Watching Timmy destroy himself next to this horrible family is so painful. I know this comment will be deleted of course.

A third person wrote simply, ‘Mother & son,’ while another said ‘That’s wifey,’ and yes someone else said, ‘Wifeyyyyy coming soon.’
Other fans saw the grooming moment between Kylie and Timothee as more of the wifely thing than mom thing.
‘No because that photo is literally too cute I’m crying, they’re basically husband and wife already,’ a fan commented.
‘Oh so what you’re saying is that they’re getting married and you’re dressing them BOTH for their ceremony. I love you Haider!’ someone else wrote.
The couple have been dating since the spring of 2023 and many suspected they would finally make their red carpet debut at the Met Gala last week.
A source told Daily Mail that Chalamet did consider joining Jenner but was ultimately ‘ecstatic’ at not attending.
‘Timothée did consider going to the Met Gala, but he is a huge Knicks fan and Kylie knows this,’ our insider said. ‘Kylie didn’t bother him to go with her and that’s something he appreciates about her. She allows him to do his own thing.’
‘They didn’t want to do the whole song and dance of it all together because it would have felt more like a chore over a fun date night,’ the source added.

‘If it was Kylie’s first Met Gala, or an event where she was being honored for something then he would have been there 100 per cent, but they decided to do their own thing.
Last week, a source told Daily Mail that their longevity is down to the enforcement of strict rules around social media and Jenner’s family reality TV show, The Kardashians.
‘Timothée made his intentions clear early [on] that he didn’t ever want to be a prop,’ they said. ‘That is why he doesn’t want to be on the Kardashians show and is only seen with Kylie at events.
‘He wants to be one of the Hollywood greats and wants to avoid falling into the trap of being known simply for who he is dating. It would be gut wrenching. They both know that if he started appearing on the family show then they wouldn’t work.’
Jenner, who has two young children with her ex Travis Scott, appears to have issued a blanket ban on any questions about Chalamet in interviews too, with the actor mentioned only in passing in major recent spreads in the Wall Street Journal and Vogue.
Chalamet followed suit when Jenner cropped up during an interview earlier this year.
Asked what it was like to have his ‘partner in crime, Kylie’ supporting him at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, he refused to acknowledge her and instead addressed the support he gets from fans and peers.
