KRISPY Kreme’s ‘most requested’ doughnut ever is finally making a comeback – six years after it disappeared from stores.
Delighted fans have been left buzzing after the cult favourite was confirmed to be returning for Valentine’s Day, following years of demand.
The fan favourite doughnut making its return is the Strawberry Gloss from Krispy Kreme.
The sweet treat features a light, fluffy Original Glazed doughnut coated in a glossy strawberry-flavoured icing – a simple but iconic combo fans have been begging to see back on sale.
The doughnut was discontinued back in 2020 – and ever since, Krispy Kreme lovers have been flooding social media with pleas for its long-awaited return.
Fans can get their hands on the Strawberry Gloss from February 7 to February 14, with the doughnut priced at £3.19.
Taking to their official Instagram, Krispy Kreme wrote: “She’s glossy, She’s iconic, She’s back! After months of fan demand, a cult favourite is making a return on 7th February & to celebrate, we’ve created a limited edition Strawberry Gloss Lip Gloss.”
Thrilled fans took to the comment section, with one writing: “IM GONNA CRY IM SO HAPPY.”
Another added: “OMG!! This one was my fave.”
A third penned: “Omg this is iconic and I need as many as possible.”
Guy Meakin, the president of Krispy Kreme UK & IRE, shared his excitement for customers to buy their most requested doughnut just in time for Valentine’s Day.
