KITKAT maker Nestle will cut 16,000 jobs as part of cost cutting plan.
The confectionery giant said it wanted to focus on being a more efficient organisation, including automating more of its work processes.

The reductions would include around 12,000 “white-collar professionals” across business functions and geographies, which would save the company around one billion Swiss francs (£940 million).
It was also targeting a further 4,000 job cuts across its manufacturing and supply chain.
The changes are being carried out by new boss Philipp Navrati, who was drafted in last month.
The new chief replaced Laurent Freixe who was fired after a year in the job after he did not reveal details of a romantic relationship with an employee.
Commenting on today’s cuts, Navratil, said: “The world is changing, and Nestle needs to change faster.
“This will include making hard but necessary decisions to reduce headcount over the next two years. We will do this with respect and transparency.”
