King Charles starts flogging £10 bowls of curry to visitors to Sandringham

King Charles is serving up CURRY for the FIRST time to visitors at Sandringham in Norfolk – made with ORGANIC meat from his estate.

The Monarch has started selling warming bowls of LAMB curry at the estate’s restaurant – and his daughter-in-law, Princess Kate, will be impressed as it’s her favourite meal.

The lamb curry, which is already proving a big hit, is served with basmati rice, poppadums and mango chutney – and costs just £10.

It is made with 100 per cent grass-fed meat from his 2,000-strong flock of Aberfield sheep reared on his Norfolk estate.

The curry is one of three new main dishes on offer this month as part of a special winter warmer menu.

The other meals currently on the menu include beef cobbler with rosemary scones – made with organic beef from cattle on the Sandringham estate – and a five bean vegan chill, served with rice and salad.

Kate has made no secret of her love for spicy foods and she has previously said curry is one of her go-to dishes when cooking for her family and it is also her favourite takeout food.

Curry is also a firm favourite for Princess Charlotte – although Prince William has said he prefers his a little less spicy.

Speaking during a BBC Radio 1 appearance on the Going Home with Vick and Jordan show in 2024 William said that Kate often made curry for the family.

But he said: “I can’t do too much spice, I start sweating. It’s not attractive.”
