Harry and Meghan attended Kris Jenner‘s star-studded 70th birthday bash in Montecito, California in November where they were pictured together.

The bond-themed celebrations took place at Jeff Bezos‘ $165million estate and was attended by various A-list celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Adele, and Justin and Hailey Bieber.

There were various candid photos of the couple with one image showing Prince Harry, 41, wearing a tuxedo with a red poppy on his lapel while Megan, 44, wore a long black dress.

But speculation was sparked after glam photographs of the couple were mysteriously removed from Kim’s Instagram shortly after being posted.

Rumours were rife that the royal couple were furious that she shared the snaps without their approval last year

However, Kim said they did sign off the publication of the images —— only to panic and ask them to be taken down when realising it was Remembrance Day

Following the revelation, The Sun’s royal experts have called the situation “a disaster for the Sussex’s PR team.”

Discussing the photo debacle on the The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills said the royal couple’s PR mishap drew unnecessary attention.

“I just think it’s slightly idiotic to think that a picture can appear on the Kardashians’ socials and disappear without anybody commenting on it or reporting on it,” Rhiannon said.

“I think they should have gone with it shouldn’t they? They just should have left those pictures out there owned it.”

The presenter continued: “I think they in a way made it into more of a story.

“They’ve now made it into a them against the Kardashians and so I don’t see how anyone’s a winner from that.

“Would we necessarily have reported about it in that way? I’m not sure.”

All’s Fair star Kim made the revelation on her sister’s podcast Khloe in Wonderland and said: “Mom and Meghan have been friends for some years now and they have a really sweet relationship.

“We took a photo and then I think we were all going through them. We’re all on, you know, communicating about like what we’re going to post.

“We’re never ones to post without permission. We are like it’s not who we are.

“We’re very respectful. Yeah, like we have photo we have the craziest funnest photos from that night, you know, but we were posting just like fun photos and so dignified photos.

She added: “We were we were told that it was totally cool to post and then after it was posted, I think they realised it was Remembrance Day and they didn’t want to be seen at a party even though it’s already up.

“And then it was taken down. And then I think they realised like this was so silly!”

Kim continued and said of photogate: “It was just made into something that was so crazy and ridiculous that just didn’t have to be.”

Kim Kardashian later told the Duchess of Sussex she wanted her to do a “full campaign” for her SKIMS underwear and clothing brand following the online storm.

The star also insisted there was no problem between Harry and Meghan and the Kardashian clan.
