KELVIN Fletcher’s wife Liz has revealed she actually ISN’T his “dream woman” in a new confession.
The couple returned to the small screen with a Christmas edition of their Fletchers’ Family Farm series tonight, which saw them head to Austria with their children Marnie, Milo, Maximus and Mateusz.
During the episode, they were seen spending time with an Achrainer family, during which their matriarch Martina gave Liz a baking masterclass.
Following the lesson, which saw them bake Austrian pastry Bauernkrapfen, Liz admitted that a woman who can bake like Martine is her Emmerdale star husband’s “dream woman”.
“That was so fascinating and it’s so good to see that they have this real farmer’s wife tradition. And they keep this tradition and they cook to celebrate.”
“Actually that’s probably Kelvin’s dream woman, a farmer’s wife. But he got me and I can’t cook,” she said with a laugh.
Liz joked that while she’ll happily eat freshly-baked goods, she’s “not the best” in the kitchen.
While the festive special saw the family abroad, the show usually follows their Peak District farm and it’s recent expansion.
The farm now boasts 100 sheep, 30 pigs, 10 horses, six chickens, a cat and Ginger the dog as well as their family with four children under the age of 7.
The family previously lived in Greater Manchester, swapping the city for life on the farm.
Having now wrapped up its third season, the show began in 2023.
Kelvin and Liz have been married for a decade but have actually known one another since childhood, reconnecting as adults and starting a relationship in 2009.
Emmerdale fans last saw Kelvin as Andy in the Yorkshire Dales all the way back in 2016.
Despite being a staple on the show, Kelvin said at the time that it was the right moment to leave after a long ride.
He said on This Morning: “Twenty years is a long time. It’s been an incredible twenty years.
“I am so grateful to Emmerdale. Throughout that period I have always had a real sense of fulfilment and purpose.”
