THE Ricky Hatton tribute boxing card has been moved less than a month before fight night.
The event honouring the late British boxing legend was set to take place in Dubai on April 11.
But organisers have been forced to reschedule it due to the instability in The Middle East following Israel and the USA‘s military action in Iran.
It will now take place in Hatton’s native Manchester “late” in the summer.
Former two-weight champion Hatton was supposed to headline the card last December against Eisa Al Dah.
But he tragically passed away last September, aged 46.
Former IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook, who retired in the wake of his victory over Amir Khan in February 2022, stepped in to replace the late Hatton.
Al Dah said: “The fight means everything to me.
“After the sad loss of Ricky, and with Kell Brook stepping in to replace him, I will continue to honour Ricky’s legacy.
“Now I have the opportunity to do that in his hometown – his own backyard.”
The Home of Boxing in 2026

The rescheduled card will also feature the late Hatton’s son, Campbell.
Campbell announced his retirement from boxing last July, not long after the passing of one of his close friends.
He quit the Sweet Science to become a solar panelist.
But he’ll lace up his gloves again later this year to honour his late dad, who was one of the most-beloved British sportspeople of all time.
