KATIE Price’s newborn kittens have been rushed to the vets after falling sick.
The news come while the star, 47, is already under fire by numerous animal cruelty prevention charities such as PETA and RSPCA after a number of animals have died in her care.
The latest cause for concern is a litter of sphynx kittens that have fallen ill.
Katie ended up caring for the litter after one of the three designer sphynx cats she got in October last year gave birth.
She made a post on Facebook sharing her distress upon her partner JJ finding two of the kittens limp and unwell.
She said: “JJ calls out and says he thinks two of the kittens are dead because they’re not moving.
“He showed them to me and they were all limp with their tongues out, two of them.
“I said you need to get them to the vets straight away.”
Katie has been bottle feeding the litter, who were born prematurely, and has even been taking them on tour with her so they can be closely monitored.
Meanwhile the kitten’s mother has been recovering and taking antibiotics.
This week, Katie has made a number of posts on Snapchat sharing the kitten’s progress.
Yesterday she posted a story captioned ‘vet checkup’ holding a cream blanket with the kittens bundled up inside.
Katie also shared a candid reel today captioned ‘kitten update’ from a car, chatting about the kitten’s health decline.
“The kittens have all declined so bad even though we took them to the vets earlier.
“JJ’s had to rush them to the emergency vets.
“I didn’t know whether to go back on stage or now [she was performing at the time], but I had no choice because people had paid for tickets.
“So we’re on our way back to the vets, and it’s not looking good. Fingers crossed, they’re like our babies and we’ve been doing everything we can.”
Katie was previously visited by the RSPCA after her dog died from being hit by a car.
She described it as a “targeted attempt to kill him” and not in any way deliberate.
Six other pets of Price’s have passed away, including four more dogs, a horse and a chameleon.
