PRINCESS Kate and Prince William have shared an adorable new picture of their daughter Charlotte to mark the princess’ 10th birthday.
The new snap shows Charlotte, the middle child of the couple and third in line to the throne, enjoying nature as she celebrates a double-digit age for the first time.
To celebrate her 9th birthday last year, it was reported the princess would have a “low key” birthday, with William potentially having stepped in to bake a cake while Kate was recovering from her cancer diagnosis.
The couple had also revealed a fresh picture of her last year for her birthday, which showed a beaming Charlotte posing in a garden wearing a floral blouse paired with a denim skirt, navy jumper and red cardigan.
This comes as it was revealed how Charlotte’s outfits may have been more strategically chosen than first thought.
According to fashion expert Amber Graafland, Princess Charlotte is following in the footsteps of mum Princess Kate, 43, who “carefully considers” her outfits and “conveys messages” with them.
The style pro told Fabulous: “Princess Kate has perfected the art of effective communication through the language of clothes.
“Kate often uses her impeccable style to nod to her hosts on official visits.
“As Kate has become more comfortable with positioning Charlotte in the public eye, she has also started using her clothes to convey hidden messages.”
Late last month, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a touching message as they celebrated their wedding anniversary on the Isle of Mull, just off the west coast of Scotland.
In a heartwarming post on Instagram, the couple paid their thanks to the locals for their “warm welcome” on their two-day visit.
