Jude Bellingham in incredible meltdown after England lose to Senegal as he boots water cooler and chases assistant ref

The 22-year-old midfielder failed to keep his emotions in check following the full-time whistle as England suffered their first loss to an African nation.

A 93rd-minute punisher from Cheikh Sabaly put the final nail in England‘s coffin as they suffered a first defeat under manager Thomas Tuchel.

Substitute Bellingham thought he had drawn England level at 2-2 in the 83rd minute, but the goal was controversially disallowed for a handball by Levi Colwill.

The debatable decision late in the game left England stars and Tuchel fuming, as Colwill didn’t appear to deliberately touch the ball.

Regardless, England didn’t do enough to win and were lucky that the match was a friendly, with Tuchel still undefeated in the World Cup qualifiers.

But Bellingham was so frustrated that he kicked the ball into the air as referee Stephanie Frappart blew the whistle at the City Ground.

The Real Madrid star then booted a water cooler near the technical area, before racing after the assistant referee.

Captain Harry Kane was ultimately forced to push the former Birmingham player onto the pitch to calm the situation down.

But the former Bundesliga ace wasn’t the only one irritated with the decision, with Kane hinting that the officials “didn’t know the rules”.

Tuchel also confronted Frappart and her team of officials in the middle of the pitch at full-time.

Bellingham, however, quickly appeared to calm down and heartwarmingly gifted his shirt to a young fan before heading down the tunnel.

But the talented midfielder does have history of taking his frustrations out on pitch-side objects after defeats.

He memorably kicked the VAR monitor in frustration after Real Madrid‘s last-gasp defeat to Valencia in April.

Bellingham was named on the bench for England’s first friendly under Tuchel, but was introduced with 19 minutes remaining as England found themselves 2-1 behind.

Kane had opened the scoring for the Three Lions early on, before Ismaila Sarr and Habib Diarra netted to turn the game on its head.

While the referee was reviewing Bellingham’s goal on the VAR screen, former Arsenal right-back Lee Dixon told ITV: “That’s completely not a deliberate handball.

“The twisting of his arm is because he is challenging for the ball. I don’t agree with that decision.”

Ian Wright later added: “For them to disallow the goal, it’s crazy.”
