The New Zealander has based himself in Ireland at trainer Andy Lee’s Dublin training base for the last four years.

But this time, Parker has relocated with wife and six kids to join him on the Emerald Isle.

Also setting up away from home is 6ft 2in German heavyweight Nelvie Tiafack – who won bronze at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

The 26-year-old stands 6ft 2in and turned professional in July – before being snapped up by YouTuber-turned-boxer and promoter Paul.

Tiafack last fought in September, beating Ramiro Edwin Robles in round four before linking up with Parker for sparring.

Coach Lee said on Parker’s YouTube channel: “We’ve got a great sparring partner in Nelvie here.

“Nelvie Tiafack is an Olympic medallist and European champion. He’s undefeated and he’s coming to give great work.

“We’re very grateful to have him here. Joe is reaching new heights all the time. It’s just great to see him and to watch him progress and develop.

“We’re very excited for him.”

Tiafack has also sparred Anthony Joshua and Moses Itauma in the past.

Paul – who is 12-1 in his own boxing career – posted to Instagram the moment he signed Tiafack.

He said: “Nelvie, what’s up my guy. MVP is signing Olympians left and right and I think it’s time we go to Germany.”

Tiafack responded: “You know what they say, let’s make history.”

Parker, 33, meanwhile comes into the fight unbeaten in his last six bouts, winning eight of his nine under Lee.

And Wardley, 30, scored a come-from-behind knockout against Aussie Justis Huni, 26, in his Portman Road homecoming fight in Ipswich in June.
