TOWIE siblings Joey and Frankie Essex have been left devastated after the death of their beloved uncle.
The ITVBe stars both took to their Instagram grids to post gushing tributes to the man they affectionately dubbed “Big Greg.”
Frankie, 37, posted a variety of snapshots which captured her relative posing in a smart suit with a smile on his face before showing the pair at a variety of happy events.
The reality TV beauty, who first appeared on TOWIE in 2011 and left two years later, then wrote: “Forever our Big G.
“Greg, your love for family and friends was the strongest there ever was. If someone was lucky enough to meet you, it felt like they’d known you their whole life.
“I’m so grateful for the time we had, for the memories, for the laughs and especially for you.
“A true Bermondsey boy!!! Millwall supporter through and through, a man who travelled the world and lived it fully.
“You had the best wife, daughter and granddaughter your girls and we promise they will always be looked after.
“We love you, baby. We miss you so much Big Greg Essex unforgettable x”
Her little brother Joey, 35, then uploaded a series of his pwn personal memories including images showing the pair together when he was a kid and partying the night away.
In an equally emotional statement he wrote: “Big Greg, you was one of a kind.
“The best uncle to me and brother to my dad.
“A family man that anyone would dream of. We will all miss you so much.
“Rest in peace mate love you forever.”
Their former TOWIE co-stars were quick to share their messages of condolence.
Billie Shepherd posted: “Sending lots of love to you all.”
TOWIE STARS SPIN OFF
WITH the announcement TOWIE will return in 2025 for two new series, it’s good news for some former ITVBE stars, too
TWO of the show’s best loved former stars will celebrate their own big life moments with a spin off series featuring Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou.
Their new show title is currently unconfirmed.
The pair, who first met and found love on TOWIE back in 2014, finally say ‘I Do’ in a three part special produced by Objective Entertainment.
The show will follow on from the success of their Baby Steps series.

FAMILY TRAGEDY
Both Frankie and Joey’s family tragedy during their childhood has previously been made public.
When she was just 13 years old, Frankie and Joey’s mum tragically died by suicide.
Frankie and Joey were then raised by their father Donny following her passing.
The duo starred alongside their cousins Chloe, Frankie, Demi and Charlie Sims on TOWIE, catapulting the family into reality TV fame.
