JOCKEYS Jim Crowley and Trevor Whelan are being treated on the track at York after a ‘horrific’ two-horse fall.
Crowley smashed into the turf after he came down on hot-favourite Almeraq.
Tiger Bay, who was ridden by Whelan, was the other horse to come down.
There will be a massive delay to racing as both riders get urgent medical attention.
Racing TV presenters at the track confirmed ambulances had rushed onto the track to help the jockeys and horses.
Oli Bell, who sounded shook up while presenting live on ITV4, said he would bring viewers updates as soon as he got them.
Those watching at home said it was one of the worst incidents they had ever seen.
Both jockeys are being attended to, Tom Bull confirmed on Racing TV.
He also said there will be a ‘substantial’ delay to the remaining action.
