Jennifer Aniston said goodbye to the summer yesterday with a selection of snaps of her nearest and dearest in sunny climes.
But among the 18 photos posted by the Friends actress is one of the back of a mystery man’s head. The Daily Mail can reveal that it is her boyfriend Jim Curtis, 49, an author and life coach.
Key to their romance, says a source, is their mutual love of dogs, so also among Ms Aniston’s pictures is one of their blended canine family.
In the adorable picture, Ms Aniston’s labrador Lord Chesterfield and her schnauzer Clyde can be seen posing next to Curtis’s rescue dog named Odie which he has called ‘the world’s cutest dog’.
A source close to the couple says their furry friends have brought them closer together.
One source said: ‘Things are getting serious between the pair and they are enjoying each other’s company.

‘Their love of rescue dogs is something they’ve really bonded over, and it has really helped that they all get along.’
Aniston, 56, tagged all of her friends who appeared in the slideshow, including Adam Sandler, Jason Bateman, Courteney Cox, Sean Hayes and longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan, but notably left Curtis untagged.
He can be seen looking at the sun setting above the ocean, but the back of his head and shoulders are covered by the shade.
While the actress has yet to confirm the relationship outright, she and Curtis have been at the centre of romance rumours since July when they were spotted on a yacht as they holidayed together in Mallorca, Spain.
Last Friday, Aniston and Curtis coyly hopped inside the same black SUV, separately, as they made their way to a dinner date in Manhattan.
‘They do everything together, they are always together, and if they have to be away from each other, they are on the phone all the time. They are so hot and heavy, it’s crazy,’ a source told the Daily Mail on August 22.
‘The amazing thing is that they click really well because they have the same interests like meditation, yoga, therapy, and dogs.’
On August 20, ET captured Jim dutifully waiting on the sidelines as the Out of My Mind actress promoted her haircare company LolaVie, which just celebrated its fourth anniversary last Thursday.

Curtis previously dated The Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel, and he divorced his ex-wife Rachel Napolitano soon after she welcomed their now-teenage son Aidan.

‘I wish I had a better relationship with my son, but he lives with his mother [in New York] most of the time, and he’s pi**ed at me.’
Aniston was previously married to Wanderlust co-star Justin Theroux between 2015 and 2017, and two-time Oscar winner Brad Pitt between 2000 and 2005.
