A jaw-dropping moment on Channel 4‘s Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing saw a star charge at a producer with a foul-mouthed attack before quitting the show.
Hosted by Jonathan Ross, the new programme follows 18 members of the public who have agreed to be handcuffed to polar opposite strangers – in a bid to win £100,000.
Monday’s (March 2) debut episode ended in with a shock as one pair quit the competition after less than a day.
Sir Benjamin Slade, 7th Baronet of Maunsel, had been partnered with George, a no-nonsense Cockney prison officer.
The 79-year-old declared he wanted his phone back – as the contestants’ devices having been taken away so the duos could get to know each other.
But when the team refused to allow him access to it, Sir Ben got into a confrontation with a producer and director.

His decision meant fellow contestant George (pictured), who he was paired with, was therefore also eliminated
He raged: ‘It’s my house I want my f***ing phone thanks. I need to check what’s happening in the world.
‘I’m not messing, I mean it are you going to get it or not? Get my phone… I don’t think they’re gonna tell me what to f***ing do in my own f***ing house.’
Continuing, he added: ‘I’ll f***ing tell them, don’t f**k with me. Bolt cutters now.’
George’s patience had also worn thin, as he said after being separated from Ben: ‘I don’t want to be part of all this codswallop.’
The pair had been handcuffed for just 12 hours and 47 minutes in total.
One viewer wrote on X: ’12hrs! I feel sorry for George having lost his opportunity to win the money. #handcuffed’
Another added: ‘Why didn’t Sir Ben use the key that’s provided if they want out?’
While a third chimed in: ‘Ben is completely unhinged hahah has it even been 24 hours.’
Upon being introduced to the show, Sir Benjamin told host Jonathan, 63: ‘Everyone thinks that I’m absolutely loaded but actually, times are tough.’
Viewers were then introduced to George, who was quick to admit: ‘I might have a spat with people who see themselves as intellectually high up because they might know how to use certain long words – well so can I! Don’t let the cockney accent fool you.
‘The upper class use knowledge against you.’
The former prison officer, who has been handcuffed to ‘terrorists’ during his time working behind bars, was then cuffed to Sir Benjamin, before heading to his stately home in Somerset.
Elsewhere, the show also features adult content creator Rob, 32, and Sara, 55, who described herself as the ‘female Nigel Farage’.

She is described as a woman who ‘never sugar-coats her thoughts’, according to The Sun, with her ‘honesty sometimes offending others quicker than she intends’.
The line-up will also include self-professed alpha male Reuben, 29, prison officer George, 60, model Bambi, 29, horse trainer Claire, hippie Morag and retired soldier Bob, 70.
Jonathan said of the show: ‘I believe this experiment will go a small way to healing a fractured Britain; after all, to know is to love.
‘I’m rooting for our couples to go the distance and not let differences overpower us.’
