RADIO 1 host Jaime Laing will co-host his show with wife Sophie Habboo during the summer.
It comes as his Going Home co-presenter Vick Hope has gone on maternity leave.

Jaime, 36, who wed Sophie, 30, two years ago already present a hugely successful podcast together called NewlyWeds.
A source said: “Sophie is joining the Radio 1 family and everyone is really excited that she’ll be bringing her chemistry with hubby Jaime to the airwaves.
“They’re already pros after doing their podcast for so many years but this is a huge moment for them and they can’t wait. It could lead to endless opportunities for them as a couple. They could even be a modern day Richard and Judy.”
Last week Vick – who is married to DJ Calvin Harris – finally confirmed she was pregnant live on air after sharing a number of snaps over the past few weeks with her bump.
Speaking to her co-host Jamie Laing, Vick said: “I should probably also say this is my final week before I go on maternity leave.”
Joking about not knowing, Jamie replied: “What? You’re an amazing friend, an amazing person, and you’re just going to be an amazing mum.”
Flaunting her bump in a blue dress, she posted: “Thank you for the love and the laughs these last few months Jamie, all the team and our amazing listeners.”
Former Made In Chelsea star Jamie and Vick took over the drivetime show in March of 2024, alongside Katie Thistleton, following Jordan North‘s departure from the station.
Katie went on maternity leave herself in May of this year before welcoming her little boy Ruben.
Last week the couple, who got married two years ago on 20 May 2023, revealed that they were pressing pause on their podcast while they renovate their new home.
Sophie said: “We actually have a bit of an announcement for you guys.
“We are going to go on a pause, we’re going to go on a little break, but we will be back and we love you guys so much.
“We’re so grateful that you’ve been on this journey with us, so on that note, if you are getting married, good luck and if you’re getting divorced we love you.”
Fans speculated that the pair would be announcing a pregnancy in coming weeks but it seems the break is in fact so they can work on the show together.
While hosting NewlyWeds together, nothing was off limits when it came to discussing their own relationship, with many fans saying in the comments that they’d miss their “comfort” podcast.
