BOND girl Eva Green could be seen with a Spectre in Addams Family spin-off Wednesday.
The actress has been cast as Morticia’s returning sister — and Wednesday’s aunt — Ophelia Frump in season three of Netflix’s spooky blockbuster.
The character was teased at the end of the last series — shown from behind and scrawling “Wednesday must die” on a wall.
French Eva, 45, said after her role was announced: “This show is such a deliciously dark and witty world.
“I can’t wait to bring my own touch of cuckoo-ness to the Addams Family.”
Eva will join stars including Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Morticia, and Jenna Ortega, who portrays the title character Wednesday.
Show creators Al Gough and Miles Millar said yesterday: “Eva Green has always brought an exhilarating, singular presence to the screen — elegant, haunting, and beautifully unpredictable.
“Those qualities make her the perfect choice for Aunt Ophelia.”
She was the happy sister of Morticia in the original 1960s’ US TV sitcom The Addams Family — but things may have taken a dark turn.
In season two of Wednesday, Morticia said her sister was missing after losing control of her psychic powers.
Miles added: “Ophelia has been gone a long time.
“It’s left a hole in Morticia’s life and a lot of unanswered questions. The re-emergence of Ophelia is going to hit this family like a bomb.”
Filming is reported to be starting in Ireland next year, with a potential 2027 release.
Eva, who starred opposite Daniel Craig’s James Bond in 2006’s Casino Royale, is the latest big name to join the show, which first aired in 2022.
Lady Gaga and Dame Joanna Lumley were in season two, out earlier this year — and the Absolutely Fabulous icon is tipped to return.
Dame Joanna previously admitted she knew nothing about the show before being cast as Wednesday’s gran Hester Frump.
She said: “I had to quickly watch an episode.
“It’s lovely to be part of it, but it’d be stupid to say I’ve looked forward to doing this all my life.
“I’d never even heard of it.”
