THE Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight was a complete farce, and the numbers don’t make it look any better.
Paul looked totally outmatched, Joshua looked like he held back, and it led to a poor showing all around.

But things look even messier when diving into the numbers.
Neither fighter put on a good showing with their striking during the Netflix event.
Paul threw just 56 punches in six rounds, with only 16 of them landing.
That is a shocking 29 percent landing on Joshua.
Meanwhile, Joshua threw 146 punches in Paul’s direction, with 48 of them landing.
Despite it being significantly more than Paul’s 56, the percentages were nearly identical.
Just 33 percent of Joshua’s punches landed.
Still, it was enough for him to get a knockout in round 6.
It was a nightmare showing for both fighters and it led to a poor show on Netflix.
Many fans made their voices heard about this showing on social media.
“That was so embarrassing for boxing,” one fan said.
“Don’t ever make Jake Paul a main event fight again,” another fan said.
“We as a society need to leave these Jake Paul fights in 2025,” a third fan said.
“Every time Jake Paul fights, the sport loses a year off its life,” a fourth fan said.
