JACK Fincham is hoping to carve out a new career in film following a difficult year for the Love Island star.
The 34-year-old narrowly avoided prison earlier this year after being arrested while serving a suspended sentence at the time.
He has also endured a turbulent relationship with his on/off girlfriend Chloe Brockett – as the pair split for the eighth time.
But after attracting interest from a small production company, Jack is now in Germany filming a top secret project.
An insider told The Sun: “The offer to be in this film came at the right time for Jack.
“Everything seems to be falling into place for him at the minute.

“He had a couple of film roles offered up to him before and so he jumped at the chance to do another.
“He would love to make it big in the world of acting.”
Jack made his acting debut in Blood Squad playing a troll-like creature beside Dani Dyer, his then–Love Island girlfriend.
He also landed a part in The Last Heist – a gangster film – in which he played a character named Tommy.
Jack and Dani won Love Island in 2018 but split less than a year after leaving the Majorca villa, with their break-up playing out in the public eye.
Jack spent time hours bars after he was handed a six-week prison sentence for admitting being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog who attacked a runner and mauled a woman.
He was freed on bail the same day while he appealed.
Jack previously told The Sun about his secret stint in rehab after a drug relapse made him hit rock bottom.
He had “fallen to pieces” after having “more money than he knew what to do with” – spending it on drink and class A drugs and taking at least 30 diazepam pills a day to cope with his crippling anxiety.
He said at the time: “I don’t want to be the one people describe as ‘he could have done so well, but he fed it up’. I want them to say ‘yeah he did f up but look what he’s done now’.
Love Island star Jack Fincham’s legal battles
Jack has had numerous run-ins with the law since 2021 when he was arrested for drug-driving.
In 2023 he was convicted of the same charge and said it was the wake-up call he needed.
Jack told how he was at rock bottom when he was pulled over by cops for a second time.
Later that year he was handed a 36-month driving ban and given 60 hours’ community service.
Jack volunteered in a charity shop as part of his sentence.
However, in February 2024 he was pulled over again and charged with driving after taking cocaine.
He also faced charges of careless driving, having no insurance and using false number plates.
Jack was spared jail after speeding his £50,000 car down the hard shoulder of the A2 in Kent.
In January, 2025 he was jailed for six weeks after he admitted being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog.
Cane Corso Elvis first attacked runner Robert in Swanley, Kent, in September 2022.
He is then said to have mauled an unnamed woman in Grays, Essex, in June 2024 but no harm was done.
Jack was freed on bail while he appealed the sentence which he successfully overturned.
In March 2024, he successfully overturned the sentence and will no longer have to serve time in prison – although a further three months was added to his existing suspended sentence
“I want to be a role model, not an embarrassment.”
He believed he deserved “better” than the path he’d gone down – but knew his addiction struggles could not only ruin his life, but end it prematurely too.
“I’ve got no choice. I either turn my life around or I’m dead,” he said.
Jack is working on his sobriety as he makes a return to the boxing ring and auditions for more movie roles.
The fully-focused star shared a sweet snap on set from Cologne, Germany yesterday as he got back to work.
He added movie camera and popcorn emojis to the post in a hint to fans about his latest move.
