I’ve made my home POP thanks to winnings from playing with Fabulous Bingo

In this addition of Brew, Biccy, Bingo, I took another dive into the fresh faces of Fabulous Bingo’s rooms.

Last year saw most of the bingo rooms receiving a new look, and I was keen to find out what it was like to play in them. 

With my usual budget of £10 for the session, I checked out the Ab Fab, Speedy and Main Stage rooms. I played between 10:30am and 11:30am on a Tuesday morning. 

Was it a totally fabulous time, darling? Did my winnings pot increase in the blink of an eye? Was my luck in the limelight for these games?

It was coffee time and I was in need of a little caffeine and a little sugar.

My drink choice provided both of those in the form of the very delicious Nescafé Peppermint Mocha.

I might have already had a little sugar thanks to my drink choice but that doesn’t mean I can’t have a biscuit as well.

Recently, I discovered a new sweet treat that I’d like to share with you: McVitie’s Digestives Vanilla Creams Biscuit.

That’s vanilla flavoured cream filling sandwiched between two mini digestive biscuits.

Sometimes, it’s in the air that you’re going to have a good bingo session. Personally, I feel like the bingo gods are smiling on me if I appease them with a good brew and biccy combo.

I’d say they were an offering to them so that they would grant me good fortune but I ate and drank the offerings myself so that probably doesn’t count.

The lack of offering didn’t completely hurt my chances of winning but it was, ironically, a slow start to my session in the Speedy Room.

TRIPLE WHAMMY GAMES HAVE THREE JACKPOTS TO BE WON

This replaced the Rapid Room but while it may look very different, it’s still awarding great cash wins in a flash. This room hosts 90-ball games and is putting the ‘go’ into bingo.

Despite these games screeching round the course at top speed, they never lose steam and keep going 24/7. 

What I love about these games is that the fast pace really keeps the energy and tension going as the balls are called. Given the automated nature of online bingo games, there’s no risk of not keeping up and missing out on your numbers being called.

I PLAYED THE EGYPT-THEMED SLOT GAMES – SEE WHAT HAPPENED

Instead, you can sit back and enjoy the building excitement as your tickets get closer to winning a line prize.  

I played in the 10:32am game Starters Orders, which had a minimum cash pot of £60 to be won, and the 1TG and 2TG bonus features. These additions mean that when the full house prize is called, smaller cash prizes will also be awarded to those with just one or two numbers left on a ticket.

It’s a great way to mitigate the annoying feeling of being so close yet so far from a win. I also checked out the 10:49:30am helping, which started as precisely as it was supposed to do.

This was the Speedy Morning game that had the 1TG and 2TD features, as well as FT. The latter is a way to let players know that this game accepts free tickets.

So, should you have any free tickets credited to your account, they can be used on games such as this one.

The lack of offerings didn’t annoy the bingo gods for long as my session took a sensational turn in the ever-fabulous room, Ab Fab.

Having replaced the Paris Room, Ab Fab is the even more absolutely fabulous incarnation of Fabulous Bingo’s exclusive 90-ball bingo room. Looking fabulous doesn’t take a break and this room doesn’t either, being open 24 hours a day.

You can pick up tickets from 10p each, up to a maximum of 120 per player per game.

I tottered over to Ab Fab for a glamorous game of 10p Big Breakfast at 11am. It had a minimum prize pot of £75 but an exquisite jackpot of £10,000 was also up for grabs!

It was in this game that I added £30 to my pot thanks to bagging the full house prize. 

During my session, I also checked out the 11:05am game of 2p Bingo, where I got very well acquainted with the dramatic heartbeat noises that sound as you near a winning ticket. Why did I get so well acquainted with them?

Well, that’s because SIX of my tickets had just one number left when the full house prize was won. It was a similar story in the 11:30am helping of £100 Bingo Link, in which I was one number away from the 1L prize of £20!

This was a Bingo Linx game so it had a jackpot of £10,000. It was here that I also encountered the AW bonus feature.

In my case, I played at 10:42am in the 2p Hour, and 11:18am in Lunch Roll On. The 2p Hour game had a full house prize of £162! Meanwhile, in the Lunch Roll On, the first full house was awarded £92.55.

I say “first” because this game had the Roll On feature enabled so the numbers kept being called after the full house was won, allowing additional full house winners to claim a smaller cash prize. 

Something that I noticed in Main Stage, but it applies to most other rooms as well, is the simplified ticket view.

This allows you to change the perspective on your active bingo tickets so that rather than appear as the full ticket, with numbers highlighted as they are called, this viewing option shows only the remaining numbers.

It’s a personal preference about which format you’d rather use but I found it quite exciting to watch numbers actually disappear from the tickets as they were called. 

Bonus Games

Those that play regularly with Fabulous Bingo will know that there are lots of bonus games available. These usually play out in the form of chat / side games for eligible players. 

First up is Elemental. This is a chat room game that the chat host will randomly decide to activate. To qualify, you must have wagered on Fabulous Bingo in the past seven days.

If you are eligible to play, you’ll receive a pop-up for a matching game where you must collect identical symbols in groups of three. When the timer stops, the player with the highest score gets a £1 bingo bonus.

The next was I Spy. The chat host says where they are and the first letter of something that they can see. The first roomie to guess correctly wins a £1.50 bingo bonus.

As I spent £3 on bingo in one day, I also got a free scratchcard! For a few moments, I escaped the cold UK and went to have some Fun in The Sun, adding 5p to my winnings.
