AN ITV game show has been AXED after just one series as its star presenter admits ‘I don’t know what I did wrong’.
The show premiered on ITV in March this year, and marked the first time the hosts had presented a programme together.
However, Adam Thomas has revealed 99 to Beat – which he hosted with his brother Ryan Thomas – has been cancelled.
The former Emmerdale actor made the revelation on the latest episode of the podcast he makes with Ryan and his twin brother, Scott.
He said: “When I am positive about something, it gets cancelled.
“Honestly, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Like I did [I’m a Celebrity spin off] Extra Camp presenting, did one series of that, got cancelled.
“The next presenting job I did was with Ryan, 99 to Beat, and that’s got cancelled.”
His comments come after weeks of rumours that the show had been axed.
However, an ITV spokesperson previously told The Sun Online: “99 To Beat is the biggest entertainment launch this year across all channels and streaming platforms.
“It reached 12.5 million viewers and was streamed over 4 million times on ITVX.
“The Thomas Brothers are fantastic presenters, but we are reviewing our schedule and will announce in due course.”
