An Italian Oasis fan died just hours before he was due to see the band perform at Murrayfield Stadium in Scotland.
Alessandro Croce, 30, from Teramo in Italy, had flown in for Liam and Noel Gallagher’s second Murrayfield Stadium show in Edinburgh last week, part of the Oasis Live ’25 tour across the UK and Europe.
The dentist was taken ill at his hotel shortly before the concert and, despite efforts from friends and emergency crews, could not be saved.
Tributes have poured in on social media for Mr Croce, who was also a passionate basketball player.
Mayor of Teramo Gianguido D’Alberto paid tribute, said: ‘The city of Teramo is united in grief over the loss of Alessandro Croce.
‘I offer the Croce family the condolences and closeness of the municipal administration and the whole community in this difficult time.’
A statement from Basketball Teramo shared on Facebook said: ‘The entire Teramo Basketball community is literally shocked and gripped with deep and inconceivable sorrow for the sudden and untimely demise of our beloved athlete Alessandro, at the age of 30.

It comes almost two weeks after Lee Claydon, another Oasis fan from Bournemouth, plummeted to his death from the upper-tier balcony at Wembley Stadium during the band’s gig on August 2.
The father-of-one died at the scene despite medics battling to save his life in front of horrified fans.
In a statement issued following the tragic news, Liam and Noel Gallagher said they were ‘shocked and saddened’ by the tragedy.

Mr Claydon’s brother, Aaron, described him as ‘the man I have always looked up to’ via a GoFundMe page set up to support his grieving family.
He wrote: ‘Our family has been turned upside down and are struggling to deal with this devastation and unexpected loss.
‘Lee leaves behind his Son, Dad, Partner, Brothers, Sisters, Nephews and Niece.
‘Lee was a loving family man who was a role model to his son Harry and was loved so much by all his family. Lee would have done anything for any of us, and he was taken from us far too soon, and we will miss him so very much.’
Mr Claydon’s cousin Shannon Robbie also paid tribute, writing on Facebook: ‘Honestly, don’t even know what words to write right now. My cousin Lee tragically passed away this weekend after no doubt having the time of his life at the Oasis concert this weekend.
‘Most will have seen snippets in the news I’m sure and as you can imagine it has devastated the whole family and for his closest knit family unit it’s the toughest time they are going through ever right now – sharing his go fund me page, in the hope that any donations, big or small, will go a long way towards helping his partner Amanda and the boys throughout this awful period and costs of things.
‘You just don’t fathom you will go out for a night of amazing fun and not come home at the end of it.’
