Irish Grand National horse numbers 2026

THE Irish Grand National is HERE as 30 horses face off for a huge cash prize at Fairyhouse.

We are guaranteed a new winner this year, with 2025 winner Haiti Couleurs not running.

Legendary trainer Willie Mullins has seven entries in the race, including Argento Boy.

The winner will take home the €270,000 prize from a total fund of €500,000.

Gordon Elliott also has multiple horses in the running – the Irish trainer last won this race in 2018 with General Principle.

When is the Irish Grand National?

• The Irish Grand National will be run on Monday, April 6 at 5pm BST.
• It headlines the three-day Easter Festival at Fairyhouse Racecourse, which runs from Saturday, April 4.
• Racing starts at 2.05pm on Monday with eight races scheduled.
