Celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande showed off their looks upon arriving to the Beverly Hilton – before heading inside the venue to cheer on the winners of the night, where there were giggles all around.
One Battle After Another, Adolescence, The Pitt and Hamnet raked in awards during the evening, as stars switched from teary acceptance speeches to shmoozing their fellow superstars while partying inside the event.
When stars were not accepting the Golden Globe gong on stage – they had the chance to mingle with each other inside the massive auditorium. And some exchanges – both humorous and shocking – were caught on camera.
Leonardo DiCaprio, who was joined by his mother Irmelin Indenbirken, 82, was a surprise scene stealer for the evening, as the notoriously private star was frequently caught making sassy expressions at other celebrities and the cameras.
Another star who set tongues wagging with their on-camera action was Amanda Seyfried, who was accused of being a real life Mean Girl due to her various facial expressions – some of which were deemed scathing or lacking sportsmanship.
Kylie Jenner attended the ceremony to support her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet as he won Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for his role in Marty Supreme, in what is a continuation of his ongoing award season success.
